About Panama City
The golden sunshine, southern hospitality and quaint beachside
charm you’ve always experienced in Panama City Beach is nothing
new. What is new, however, is almost everything else!
A new skyline of distinctive architecture fills the horizon, and a
collection of enchanting eateries, exhilarating attractions and chic
retail are arriving daily.
The new Bay County International Airport, scheduled to break
ground in early 2007, will be completed in 2009 opening travel
channels throughout the U.S., Europe and Asia, and making Panama
City Beach one of the most sought-after travel destinations in the
world.

Existing-Home Sales Rise Again in February.
Last month’s increase was the
biggest monthly rise
since March 2004, when
sales also rose 3.9 percent.
Although Bay County is a great place to vacation, more and more people are
realizing that it’s also a great place to live. That’s why it is no surprise
that Bay
County has seen such a large increase in its population. From 1970 to 2005, the
population increased 114.8%! It is projected that the population will continue
to
increase another 24.7% over the next 20 years.
